What is an exocrine gland/system?


Exocrine-  The exocrine system is a system of hormones and glands that secrete chemical substances through ducts or tubes outside the body or onto another surface within the body. 

It is a simple gland that secrets a variety of things such as sweat, enzymes, mucus, etc.

Examples- Salivary Glands, Liver, Pancreas, etc.
