What is an equation $4=5(p-2)-4=5(p-2)$

Given:  $4=5(p-2) -4=5(p-2)$

To do: Find the value of $p$

$4 = 5(p-2)$

We have to find the value of $p$.

$4 = 5p-5(2)$

$4 = 5p-10$

$5p = 4+10$

$5p = 14$

$p= \frac{14}{5}$

$-4=5(p-2)$

$-4=5p-5(2)$

$-4=5p-10$

$5p=10-4$

$5p=6$

$p= \frac{6}{5}$

The value of p is $\frac{6}{5}$
