What is an electric circuit?

An electric circuit is a closed-loop or path which forms a network of electrical components, through which the electric current (electrons) flows. This path is created using electrical wires and is powered by a source such as a battery.

It consists of components like batteries, resistors, inductors, capacitors, switches, or transistors.
