What is an electric cell?

An electrical cell is a device used to generate or provide electricity to different devices that are not fed directly or easily by the supply of electricity. It has two metal-shaped terminals, one is positive, while another one is negative.

When the two terminals are connected to an electrical system, electrical current passes through it. A battery is one or more cells, connected. This cell is also known as an electrochemical cell.
