What is air pressure? Give an example.

Air pressure on any surface is the force exerted onto that surface by the weight of the air above that surface. It is measured in units of pascals, millibars, atmosphere, and so on.

Atmospheric pressure also called barometric pressure, which is the force per unit area exerted by an atmospheric column.

An example of air pressure is the average sea-level air pressure of 101.325 kPA.
