A ray is a line that has a fixed point or vertex as one of its ends and it moves infinitely in other direction denoted by an arrowhead.

A line has no finite ends; it extends infinitely in both directions; denoted by two arrowheads at its ends. A line segment has two fixed points as its two ends.
