What is a linear equation?  Solve: $\frac{3m}{2}-3=3$.

Given: Linear equation $\frac{3m}{2}-3=4$.

To do: Solve the given linear equation.

Solution:

Linear Equation with one variable:

An Equation in the form of $ax+b=c$ is known a linear equation with one variable, where $a,\ b$ and $c$ are integer and $x$ is a variable.

Linear Equation with two variables:

An equation in the form of $ax+by=c$ is known a linear equation of two variables, where $a,\ b$ and $c$ are real integers, $x$ and $y$ are two variables.

Solving the given linear equation:

 $\frac{3m}{2}-3=4$

$\Rightarrow \frac{3m-6}{2}=4$

$\Rightarrow 3m-6=8$

$\Rightarrow 3m=8+6$

$\Rightarrow 3m=14$

$\Rightarrow m=\frac{14}{3}$

Thus, $m=\frac{14}{3}$.
