What factors cause diabetes and heart diseases?

Diabetes : Diabetes is the condition in which the body does not properly process food for use as energy. Most of the food we eat is turned into glucose, or sugar, for our bodies to use for energy. The pancreas, an organ that lies near the stomach, makes a hormone called insulin to help glucose get into the cells of our bodies.

There are two types of diabetes Type I and Type II
Type I diabetes develops as the pancreas' insulin-producing beta-cells is damaged and killed by the immune ability, the body's ability to combat infection. Scientists agree that type 1 diabetes is caused by genes and environmental factors such as viruses which may worsen the disease

Type 2 diabetes—the most common form of diabetes—is caused by several factors, like obesity, physical activity, overweight other lifestyle factors, and genes.
