What does an orthopaedic surgeon do?
Orthopaedic surgeons are the doctors who are well specialized to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders in the musculoskeletal system, such as the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles.
The different types of condition that an orthopaedic surgeon treat include arthritis, cerebral palsy, club foot, congenital disorders, degenerative diseases, infections, musculoskeletal trauma, scoliosis, sports injuries and tumours.
