What do you understand by reflection of light?

Reflection is the return of lightwave after it hits a smooth and polished surface. The ray that bounces back is called the reflected ray. With respect to the normal, the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection. There are two types of reflection.

1) Regular reflection

2) Diffused reflection.
