What do you understand by percolation rate of soil?
Percolation rate of soil can be defined as the rate by which the soil absorbs water or the rate through which water passes from the soil particles.
Percolation rate of soil differs based on types of soil. Sandy soil has the highest percolation rate and clayey soil possess the lowest percolation rate.
