What do you mean by Sorting Materials?
Grouping of objects together with similar properties is called sorting.
The materials can be grouped on the basis of similarities or differences in their properties.
Sorting of objects into groups with each group having its own characteristic properties is called Classification of Objects.
We classify objects because it gives us the following advantages:
1. Classification of objects make it easier to locate and identify with them.
2. We can get an idea of the properties of other members of the group by just identifying one member of the group.
