What do you mean by heat?

Heat is a form of energy that transfers from one body to another body, which are at different temperatures.

It generally flows from a body of high temperature to a body of low temperature.

For example if you place an ice cube near any hot substance, since heat transfers from a high-temperature body to a low-temperature body, ice cube melts and turns into water.
