What do you mean by free fall? Explain with an example.

Freefall is defined as the vertical motion of an object or body from a certain height, only under the influence of the earth’s gravity. Such a body is also called a freely falling body.

It is a uniformly accelerated motion that moves only in the vertical axis ("y" axis), with the condition that the initial velocity will always have to be equals to 0 and the acceleration will be the value of the gravity in the place of the motion (9.8m/s).

For example- A stone dropped in an empty well,  A ball is thrown in a projectile motion.
