The various ways by which we protect crops from weeds and pests are as follow:-
1. Spraying pesticides such as herbicides, and insecticides, to kill pests on the crop.
2. Spraying weedicides on the weeds.
3. Using resistant varieties of crop plants.
4. Plucking weeds by hands.
5. Removing weeds by equipment like a trowel, harrow, or by ploughing the field before sowing the seeds.
