What are the variables?
Variable:
A variable is denoted by a symbol that can take any real value. The value of a variable is not fixed.
The letters x, y, and z are generally used for variables.
Example:
In $2x + 4 y$;
2 and 4 are constants, and, x and y are variables.
Using the above definition we can identify variables and constants.
