What are the quantities on which the amount of work done depends? How are they related to work?
We know the formula for the work done: $W=Fd\cos\theta$
Here, $W\rightarrow$ work done
$F\rightarrow$force applied
$d\rightarrow$ displacement
$\theta\rightarrow$ angle between the directions of the applied force and the displacement
So, from the above expression for the work done, it is clear that it depends upon (i). applied force on the object (ii). displacement in the object (iii). the angle between the directions of the applied force and the applied force and the displacement.
