They are safer than normal roads.
Traveling on highways is easier as they are the straight and broad roads connecting one place to another, for long distances.
Travelers if follow the signs correctly, are less likely to get lost on the highways.
By traveling on highways the fuel cost can be saved as because the distance between the cities is decreased.
