What are Pure Substance?

•  Pure substances are defined as substances that are made of only one type of atom or molecule.
• It is homogeneous in nature.
• It can further be divided into Elements and Compounds.
• Examples of pure substances include tin, sulfur, diamond, water, pure sugar (sucrose), table salt (sodium chloride) and baking soda (sodium bicarbonate).
