What are prime numbers and coprime numbers?

Prime Numbers:

Numbers which have only two factors (are perfectly divisible by only two numbers) i.e. one and itself.
For example,

5 is a prime number as 5 has only two factors, 1 and 5.

Co-primes:

Two numbers are said to be co-prime numbers when they have no other common factor other than one. This implies, their Highest Common Factor is one.

For example,

9, 10 are co primes because they both do not have any common factors other than one.
