What are energy-providing nutrients?
The nutrients that provide calories or energy which are required in large amounts to maintain body functions and carry out daily life activities are commonly referred to as macronutrients.
These macronutrients are broadly classified into three parts: carbohydrates, proteins, and fats.
So, Carbohydrates, Proteins, and Fats are energy-providing nutrients.
