What are communicable diseases? Give another name for this.

Infections that transfer from one person or animal to another, are known as communicable diseases, often known as infectious diseases or transmissible diseases.

It results from the presence and development of pathogenic biologic agents in an animal host, such as a human, such as viruses, bacteria, and fungi.

For instance, hepatitis A and B, influenza, measles, and TB (TB)

After being infected by the pathogen, a person may develop a communicable illness.

Several of the following situations may result in this:

1. Consuming polluted food or water.

2. Inhaling droplets from an infected individual's cough or sneeze.

3. Direct contact with the pathogen-carrying individual.

4. Receiving fluids that are polluted, such as blood, mucus, or saliva.

5. Being bitten by an animal or insect that carries the infection.

The spread of communicable diseases can be prevented by

1. Frequent washing of hands with soap and water.

2. Sanitizing and disinfecting the surfaces and surroundings. (Which probably are touched by an infected individual).

3. Using face masks while outdoors.

4. Avoid sharing things with infected individuals.

5. Maintain physical distance and avoid overcrowded places.
