What are changes that occur in an incense stick, when it is burnt? Can these changes be reversed?
When an incense stick is burnt, a pleasant smell is produced. This pleasant smell is due to certain chemicals that are released into the air. After the gases are released, ash is left behind.
We cannot recombine the gases and the ash to get back the original incense stick. So, this is a change that cannot be reversed.
The burning of an incense stick is an irreversible change.
