What are Desirable and Undesirable changes?

Desirable changes: The changes that we desired to occur or we want them to take place are known as desirable changes. These changes are useful to us.

Examples: ripening of fruits, germination of seeds, growth of a seedling into a plant, growth of a baby into an adult, etc.

Undesirable change: The changes that we do not want to take place are called undesirable changes. These changes are not useful to us. It can sometimes be harmful to us. Hence, these are changes are not desired.

Example: Rain causing destruction by floods, souring of milk, spoiling of food, etc.

Sometimes a change can be desirable at one time but undesirable at some other time.

For example, the burning of fuel sources such as wood or coal to produce heat is a desirable change. But if this burning of fuel cause fire at a house or factory, it is an undesirable change.
