What are all the forms of a biosphere?

The biosphere has three forms, called the lithosphere, atmosphere, and hydrosphere.

Lithosphere

The term Lithosphere derived from the Greek word, lithos meaning rocky and sphaira meaning sphere or region.

It is the rigid, solid outer section of Earth consisting of the crust (the outermost layer of rock on Earth), and the upper mantle.

Hydrosphere

The term Hydrosphere derived from the Greek word, hydor meaning water, and sphaira meaning sphere or region.

It is the combined or total amount of water found on, under, and above the surface of a planet. It can be in the form of liquid, vapour, or ice.

Atmosphere

The term Atmosphere derived from the Greek word, atmos meaning vapour and sphaira meaning sphere or region.

It is the blanket of gases commonly known as air, which surrounds Earth.
