What are air cushions?

Air cushion is usually made of rubber or plastic, and filled with compressed air. 

It has quite exceptional shock resisting qualities. It is mostly used in packaging to protect the stuff from damage.

When products need to reach their destination in the same condition as they were dispatched, then the air cushion works by absorbing shocks over their whole surface and give more protection than traditional packaging, bouncing back to hold the product securely.
