Solution:
$3.765$ lies between 3 and 4.
So, we divide the number line into 10 equal parts and mark each point of division. The first mark on the right of 3 will be $3.1$ followed by $3.2$ and so on.
The point left of 4 will be $3.9$.
The magnified view of the above will show that $3.765$ lies between 3.7 and 3.8.
Divide the line segment between 3.7 and 3.8 into 10 equal parts.
The first part will be 3.71 followed by 3.72 and so on.
The magnified view of the above will show that $3.765$ lies between 3.76 and 3.77.
Divide the line segment between 3.76 and 3.77 into 10 equal parts.
The first part will be 3.761 followed by 3.762 and so on.
