Using identities find the value of $9.7 \times 10.3$.
Given:
The given expression is $9.7\times10.3$.
To do :
We have to evaluate the given expression using identity.
Solution :
$9.7$ can be written as $9.7=(10-0.3)$
$10.3$ can be written as $10.3=(10+0.3)$
We know that,
$(a+b) \times (a-b) = a^2-b^2$
Therefore,
$9.7\times10.3=(10-0.3)\times(10+0.3)$
$=(10)^2-(0.3)^2$
$=100-0.09$
$=99.91$
The value of $9.7 \times 10.3$ is $99.91$.
