When two tiny holes are made in a plastic bucket, one near the middle part and the other just above the bottom. When this bucket is filled with water, the water rushes out from the bottom hole much faster than from the upper hole. It is because the pressure exerted by the water depends on the depth of the container too. So, the hole near to bottom is much deeper than the hole near the middle part of the bucket. Therefore, the water gets pushed out with more pressure from the hole near the bottom.
