We have to find the maximum capacity of a container which can measure the oil in two tankers the exact number of times.
Solution :
The maximum capacity of the container is the HCF of 80 and 650.
Prime factorisation of 80 and 650 is,
$80 = 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 5$
$650 = 2 \times 5 \times 5 \times 13$
HCF of 80 and 650 $= 2\times5 = 10$.
The maximum capacity of a container which can measure the oil in two tankers the exact number of times is 10 L.
