Three coins are tossed simultaneously 100 times with the following frequencies of different outcomes:
If the three coins are simultaneously tossed again
Given:
Three coins are tossed simultaneously 100 times.
The three coins are simultaneously tossed again.
To do:
We have to find the probability of 2 heads coming up.
Solution:
Total number of outcomes $=100$
Number of events in which two heads come up $=36$
We know that,
Probability of an event=$ \frac{Number \ of \ favourable \ outcomes}{Total \ number \ of \ outcomes}$
Therefore,
Probability of getting two heads $=\frac{36}{100}$
$=0.36$
This implies,
The probability of 2 heads coming up is $0.36$.
