There is a hole in the bathroom through which the wastewater passes. Why water go in that direction where is hole why it didn't go in another direction?

The design of the bathroom is in such that the wastage water would go to a corner of a room, where a hole is provided. All the other three corners are constructed at a little bit more height than the corner where the hole is provided. The height level was such a low that anybody can't even notice it. Therefore, water flows only through that hole.
