One of the numbers $= -8$

To find :

We have to find the other number.

Solution : 

Sum of the two integers $= 14$

Let's take the other number as $x$.

So,

$x + (-8) = 14$

$x - 8 = 14$                                                     $[+\times- = -]$

$x = 14 + 8$

$x  =  22$

The other number is 22.
