The screw driver used by an electrician has a plastic or wooden handle. Why?

Screwdriver is made of metal which is a good conductor of electricity. In order to prevent electric shocks by the screw driver its handle is made of wood as it is a poor conductor of electricity which protects from electric shocks and makes the screw driver safe from electric shocks.
