# The ratio of two sides of a parallelogram is 2 : 3 and its perimeter is 60 cm. Find the sides of the parallelogram.

**Given:** The ratio of two sides of parallelogram is 2 : 3 and its perimeter is 60 cm.

**To do: ** Here we have to find the sides of the parallelogram.

**Solution:**

We know that the opposite of the parallelogram are same. So,

The ratio of two sides of parallelogram is 2 : 3;

Let the common ratio be = $x$

Now,

$2x\ +\ 3x\ +\ 2x\ +\ 3x\ =\ 60$

$4x\ +\ 6x\ =\ 60$

$10x\ =\ 60$

$x\ =\ 6$

Therefore,

The length of each side

$2x$ = **12 cm** (Two sides each)

$3x$ = **18 cm** (Two sides each)
