Given :

To find :
We have to find the cost of $4 \frac{1}{2}$ Kg of sugar.
Solution :
The cost of 1 kg of sugar $= Rs. \frac{72}{2} = Rs. 36$
The cost of $4 \frac{1}{2}$ kg of sugar $= Rs. 4 \frac{1}{2} \times 36$
$= Rs. \frac{9}{2} \times 36$
$= Rs. 9 \times 18$
$= Rs. 162$.
