Given: The monthly salary of Roghav is ₹ 1,20,000. He saves ₹ 30000 every month

To do:
Find the ratio of:
(i) income to savings.
(ii) savings to expenditure.

Solution:

Salary of Raghav = ₹ 1,20,000

Savings = ₹ 30000

Expenditure= 120000$-$30000
                      =90000

Ratio of income to savings =$\frac{ 120000}{30000}$
                                                 =$4:1$

Ratio of savings to expenditure = $\frac{30000}{90000}$=1:3
