The marked price of a pair of shoes is Rs 5000 and the shopkeeper allows 15% discount . Find the selling price of shoes after discount.
Given :
The marked price of a pair of shoes is Rs 5000.
Discount given = 15%
To find :
We have to find he selling price
Solution :
Selling price $= Marked price - Discount$
$= Rs 5000 - \frac{15}{100} \times 5000$
$= Rs 5000 - 750$
$= Rs 4250$.
Selling price of the shoes after discount is Rs. 4250.
