The length breadth and height of a room are 825 cm 675 cm 450cm respectively. Find the longest tape which can measure the three dimensions of the room exactly.
Given:
Length of room = 825 cm
Breadth of room = 675 cm
Height of room= 450 cm
To find: The longest tape which can measure the three dimensions of the room exactly , we have to find H C F
Solution:
Factors of $825 = 3 \times 5 \times 5 \times 11$
Factors of $675 = 3 \times 3 \times 3 \times 5 \times 5$
Factors of $450 = 2 \times 3 \times 3 \times 5 \times 5$
Common factors are $3 \times 5 \times 5$
$3 \times 5 \times 5 = 75$
So, 75 cm is the length of the longest tape which can measure the three dimensions of the room exactly.
