The length , breadth, and height of a container are 850cm, 650cm, and 325cm, respectively. Find the longest tape which can measure the dimensions of the container fully
Given:
length = 850 cm
Breadth = 650 cm
Height = 325 cm
To find: Find the longest tape which can measure the dimensions of the container fully
Solution:
We have to find Highest Common Factor
Factors of 850 - 2 $\times$ 5 $\times$ 5 $\times$ 17
Factors of 650 - 2 $\times$ 5 $\times$ 5 $\times$ 13
Factors of 325 - 5 $\times$ 5 $\times$ 13
Common Factors from the above is 5 $\times$ 5 = 25
So 25 is HCF of 850 , 650 , 325
Longest tape which can exactly measure the three dimensions is 25 cm.
