Given :
The length of the rectangle = 4 km .
The breadth of the rectangle = 500 m = $\frac{500}{1000} km = \frac{1}{2} km$ (Since 1 km = 1000 m)
To find :
We have to find the area of the Rectange.
Solution :
Area of a rectangle of length l and breadth b is lb.
Therefore,
The area of the given rectangle = $4 km\times\frac{1}{2}km = 2 km^2.$
