The heights of 5 persons in cms are 134,142,141,138, and 135, respectively. Find the mean height.
Given :
Heights of 5 persons are 134 cm, 142 cm, 141 cm, 138 cm, and 135 cm.
To do :
We have to find the mean height.
Solution :
Mean $= \frac{Sum of the numbers}{Total number of numbers}$
Therefore, the mean height is,
Mean $= \frac{134+142+141+138+135}{5}$
$= \frac{690}{5}$
$= 138 cm$.
The mean height is 138 cm.
