(i) 1547
(ii) 45743
(iii) 8948
(iv) 333333.

We have to give a reason why the given numbers are not perfect squares.
Solution:
The unit digit of a perfect square can be only 0, 1, 4, 5, 6 or 9.
(i) Here, the unit digit of the given number is 7.
Therefore,
1547 is not a perfect square.
(ii) Here, the unit digit of the given number is 3.
Therefore,
45743 is not a perfect square.
(iii) Here, the unit digit of the given number is 8.
Therefore,
8948 is not a perfect square.
(iv) Here, the unit digit of the given number is 3.
Therefore,
333333 is not a perfect square.
