**(ii)** 45743

**(iii)** 8948

**(iv)** 333333.

To do:

We have to give a reason why the given numbers are not perfect squares.

Solution:

The unit digit of a perfect square can be only 0, 1, 4, 5, 6 or 9.

(i) Here, the unit digit of the given number is 7.

Therefore,

1547 is not a perfect square.

(ii) Here, the unit digit of the given number is 3.

Therefore,

45743 is not a perfect square.

(iii) Here, the unit digit of the given number is 8.

Therefore,
