Solution:

Cost of levelling the square field $= Rs.\ 13322.50$

Rate of levelling $= Rs.\ 2.50$ per $m^2$

This implies,

Area of the square field $=\frac{1332250}{250}$

$=5329 \mathrm{~m}^{2}$

Therefore,

The length of each side $=\sqrt{\text { Area }}$

$=\sqrt{5329}$

$=\sqrt{73^2}$

$=73\ m$

Perimeter of the square $=4 \times 73$

$= 292\ m$

Rate of fencing the field $= Rs.\ 5$ per m

Total cost of fencing $= Rs.\ 5 \times 292$

$= Rs.\ 1460$
