The average breathing rate of an adult is 15 - 18 times a min, so what will be the breathing rate when a person is running and when a person is sleeping?
When a person is running or doing intense exercise, then breathing rates increases from the normal rate of 12-18 breaths per minute up to 40 – 50 breaths per minute, and when a person is relaxing or sleeping then it falls down to 12–20 breathe per minute.
This breathing rate varies from person to person according to their health condition and age.
