# The area of rectangle is 120 metre square and its breadth is 8 metre. Find the length of the rectangle and perimeter of the rectangle.

**Given: **

Area of the rectangle = 120 m

Breadth of the rectangle = 8 m

**To find:** Here we have to find the length of the rectangle and perimeter of the rectangle.

**Solution:**

We know that:

Area of rectangle = Length $\times$ Breadth

Also, given that;

Area of the rectangle = 120 m^{2}

So,

Length $\times$ Breadth = 120 m^{2}

Length $\times$ 8 m = 120 m^{2}

Length $\times$ 8 m = 120 m^{2}

Length = $\frac{120}{8}$ m

**Length = 15 m**

Now,

Perimeter = 2(Length $+$ Breadth)

Perimeter = 2(15 $+$ 8)

Perimeter = 2(23)

**Perimeter = 46 m**

So, length of the rectangle is 15 m and Perimeter is 46 m.
