The angles of a quadrilateral are in the ratio $3: 4: 6: 7$. Find the four angles.

Given: The angles of a quadrilateral are in the ratio $3: 4: 6: 7$.

To do: To find the angles

Solution:

Let the $3x,\ 4x,\ 6x,\ 7x$ be the angles of quadrilateral.

Therefore, $3x+4x+6x+7x=360$

$\Rightarrow 20x=360$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{360}{20}$

$\Rightarrow x=18$

$3x=3\times 18 = 54^o$

$4x=4\times 18 = 72^o$

$6x=6\times 18 = 108^o$

$7x=7\times 18 = 126^o$

Thus, $54^o,\ 72^o,\ 108^o$ and $126^o$ are the angles of the quadrilateral.
