Synthetic fabric is of how many types?

Some fibers are called synthetic fibers as they are not natural but manmade fibers made by using chemicals. These are made of small chemical molecules that join to form long chains. Some examples of synthetic fibers are nylon, rayon, acrylic, polyester, etc.

There are four types of synthetic fibers namely, rayon, nylon, polyester, and acrylic.

Nylon is the first fully synthetic fiber as it was made without any natural raw material.
