Bulbul runs around a rectangular park with a length of 60 m and a breadth of 45 m.
To find :
We have to find who covers the less distance.
Solution :
We know that,
The perimeter of a square of side a units $= 4a$ units.
Perimeter of a rectangle of length l units and breadth b units $= 2(l+b)$ units.
Therefore,
Distance covered by Sweety$=4\times 75 m= 300 m$
Distance covered by Bulbul$=2(60+45) m=2(105) m= 210 m$.
Bulbul covers less distance in comparison to Sweety.
