State whether the product obtained is greater or smaller than the fractions multiplied without actually solving them.
$ \frac{4}{5} \times \frac{6}{13}$

Given :

$ \frac{4}{5} \times \frac{6}{13}$

To find :

We have to find whether the product obtained is greater or smaller than the fractions multiplied without actually solving them.

Solution :

We know that,

Product of two fractions which are less than 1 is less than both the fractions.

Therefore,

$ \frac{4}{5} $ and $\frac{6}{13}$ are both greater than $ \frac{4}{5} \times \frac{6}{13}$
